Moriah "Mo" Wilson, a rising star cycling star, was tragically murdered on May 11, 2022, in Austin, Texas. The 25-year-old was shot multiple times at a friend's home, by Kaitlin Armstrong, a woman involved in a love triangle with Moriah and Kaitlin’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland, a fellow cycling star.
Moriah had been spending time with Strickland earlier that day, which reportedly fueled Kaitlin's jealous outburst. After the murder, she fled the country and evaded authorities for over six weeks before being captured in the digital nomad paradise of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica.
